Officers stopped the 30-year-old and his van on the A29 due to his conspicuous driving behavior, reported the newspaper "Algemeen Dagblad", citing the police.

In the van, the officers came across the coffins which, according to the man, were supposed to contain two bodies.

However, as the Frenchman did not have the necessary transportation documents, the police had the coffins opened by a funeral home. Inside were sports bags containing a total of 250 kilograms of cocaine with a street value of 13 million euros.

According to the police, the man was on his way from France to the Netherlands without knowing the destination of his journey.

He was supposed to have been told this later. The driver was arrested and the drugs were destroyed.
