Man shoots roommate: The reason leaves even the police speechless
Nashville (Tennessee/USA) - A young man from the US state of Tennessee is currently in custody and will soon have to stand trial. The reason: He is said to have killed his roommate in cold blood - simply because he was probably in his room.

As the news portal People reported, Davis Owolo Jr (24) blew a fuse on Wednesday evening. Shortly afterwards, he pulled out his gun and fired at Johnia Ishan Wilson (†33), who was living with him in an apartment at the time.
The shooter then fled with his girlfriend in tow.
Witnesses, who had previously tried to de-escalate the situation, alarmed the police. However, by the time the officers arrived at the scene, there was nothing more they could do for the 33-year-old. His lifeless body was lying in the stairwell, Wilson had already succumbed to his wounds.
The police immediately launched a manhunt for the perpetrator. However, they did not have to search for long. After just one day, Owolo Jr. turned himself in at the police station and confessed to what he had done.
When he finally gave the reason why he had killed his roommate, the investigators were left speechless.

According to the report, he was furious because he suspected that Wilson had been in his room without his consent. Although the 33-year-old denied the allegations, Owolo Jr. had already made his decision and could no longer be stopped.
It is unclear why the thought that his roommate could have been in his room made him so angry.
The 24-year-old was arrested on Thursday and has been in custody ever since. It has not yet been decided when his first court hearing will take place. However, his charge has already been determined: Murder.
