Man gets a tattoo of his wife: Result employs millions
Seattle (Washington) - This tattoo leaves hardly anyone cold: in just one week, more than ten million users have viewed it on TikTok. Although the artwork in the video is branded as meaningless, for some it is exactly the opposite.

Shawn (34), who lives with his wife Alissa (34) in Seattle, had the motif engraved by her. As she is a professional tattoo artist, he was in the right place.
So the US-American didn't mess anything up, the tattoo is cleanly engraved. Rather, it is the image as such that is responsible for the many clicks. Shawn had the classic warning image of an Ikea instruction manual engraved by his wife.
The 34-year-old's left arm features a crossed-out man standing alone in front of a few pieces of furniture, next to two smiling men who are trying to put the furniture together.
This tattoo not only appeals to the wearer, but also to at least 1.3 million users who have left a like.
Meanwhile, it is clear from the comments column that many consider the tattoo to be anything but meaningless. When asked by Newsweek, Alissa made a confession.
Viral TikTok video shows curious tattoo

According to this, the tattoo is actually a meaningful one. "When we were dating, we were in a long-distance relationship," explained the tattoo artist.
"He always sent me the photo of the instructions with the two people, the tattoo, and wished I was there to help," Alissa told the US magazine.
So it was actually an inside joke that Shawn used to illustrate his loneliness. The rest, as they say, is history.
Fun fact: It's not just many TikTok users who can relate to the curious tattoo, but also the actual creator.
"We love it," says Ikea in a comment! This in turn makes the couple happy. "It was so much fun reading everyone's comments," says Alissa.
