If you think you've seen it all in the world of soccer , the 82nd minute of the cup duel between Sport Huaquilla and Magdalena CEDEC should still make your jaw drop.

Referee Luis Alegre was about to send off a Magdalena player with a red card when he was alerted to the loud complaints from the bench by his linesman.

Suddenly, everything happened very quickly: an assistant coach stormed onto the pitch with a bottle in his hand and was already ready to strike, but he had not reckoned with the embattled referee. Before the attacker could land his blow, Alegre knocked him to the ground with a well-directed kick to the chin!

The supervisor quickly got up again, but the unbelievable scene did not calm his temper. The Magdalena employee had to be held back by his players, while other players tried to get into a fight with the referee.
