Husky puppy meets golden retriever: The reaction of both speaks volumes

USA - On paper, huskies and golden retrievers are not exactly the most similar dog breeds. While the former are usually wild and loud, retrievers are considered cuddly family dogs. But there are also similarities, as a viral TikTok proves, in which husky puppy North meets his big "brother" - a golden retriever!

Both breeds are very popular on social media for very different reasons. But the dogs also share some characteristics, such as their size and curiosity, as well as a love of long walks.

Husky puppy North is currently still particularly curious. On the TikTok page set up especially for him, his owners recently recorded how the four-legged friend met a Goldie for the first time in his young life.

As with North's first meeting with a cat - the corresponding photo went viral - the little sled dog is also very taken with his second animal sibling.

But unlike with the cat, he can no longer play the big savage and is much more reserved when he meets the much larger dog. Goldie, on the other hand, seems to be delighted with the new family member right from the start.

He immediately greets the puppy exuberantly, who then retreats. But North's curiosity has long since been aroused. He briefly licks his brother's paw, but does not immediately accept the invitation to play.

Little North has also already met a cat

Eventually, the little husky also ventures forward, trudging confidently towards the golden retriever. The much larger and older dog seems overjoyed to have finally found a new playmate - even if North always needs a break.

Meanwhile, the clip of the two of them uploaded at the beginning of February has been met with enthusiasm online. The recording has already garnered almost a million views, with more than 60,000 users leaving a like.

In hundreds of comments, many users shared the impression that Husky North is not (yet) quite as convinced by his big brother as the golden retriever is by his little one.
