Horrible find: Pugs eat the body of their 34-year-old owner
Târgu Jiu (Romania) - A dog lover (†34) was eaten by her own pugs after lying dead in her apartment for days - her family had initially been desperately searching for her.
As the Daily Mail reports, no one had heard from 34-year-old Adriana Neagoe from Romania for five days, leaving her family increasingly worried. It was completely out of character for her not to answer the phone.
Concerned, they finally contacted the police, who immediately began a search.
Together with a relative, a patrol made its way to the woman's home. To gain access, the fire department had to break down the door.
What they then discovered was shocking: Adriana was lying lifeless in her apartment and her two pugs had started to eat the body out of hunger.

The police have started an investigation and an autopsy is now to clarify the exact cause of death. The two dogs have now been taken to an animal shelter.
According to her family, Adriana had repeatedly suffered from chest problems in the past. However, it is still unclear whether this is connected to her death.
