For the first time, the "sticker" for the windshield costs over 100 euros. While our Czech neighbors also raised the fee for using the freeway, Switzerland and Slovenia held back this year.

The "sea-green" vignette has had its day; the new one is bright yellow. And this annual sticker now costs 103.80 euros instead of the previous 96.40 euros, an increase of 7.7 percent.

The time-shortened vignettes are also more expensive. The two-month sticker is available for 31.10 euros (2024: 28.90), for ten days you pay 12.40 (11.50), for one day 9.30 (8.60).

In addition, the route toll to be paid extra on popular vacation routes has also been increased - usually by one euro for a single journey.

The Czech Republic has also increased

For example, you pay 14.50 euros for the Tauernautobahn (A10) with the Katschberg tunnel, twelve euros for the Brenner (A13) and 12.50 euros for the Arlberg tunnel (S16).

Anyone caught on the strictly controlled highways without a vignette will pay a flat rate of 120 euros. Anyone who initially refuses to pay will be prosecuted, which could cost up to 3000 euros.

The Czech annual vignette has increased in price from 2300 to 2440 crowns (97.50 instead of 92 euros).

The daily ticket has been increased by 10 crowns to 220 (8.40 euros). In Switzerland it remains at a reasonable 40 francs (44 euros), while Slovenia continues to charge a hefty 117 euros.
