The Goldie and his family were recently on vacation in Spain. They spent a few relaxing days there and enjoyed some family time.
Every now and then, Maui's owner and his master went their separate ways to get things done. A circumstance with which the four-legged friend was not particularly happy.
In a short video on TikTok , his owner shared just such a moment - and warmed the hearts of her more than 1.8 million followers.
In it, Maui walks through the streets with his owner and his human sibling. There was no sign of his beloved owner. At least that's what the dog thinks.
He keeps looking around, lets his gaze wander through the streets and seems quite restless. What he doesn't know at the time is that his owner is standing on the other side of the street and can't help but smile at her beloved four-legged friend.
"Maui is always looking for me when I'm not there," the young woman has since captioned the clip.

However, Dog didn't have to look around in panic for his best friend for long.
As soon as he and his owner had crossed the road, he spotted her - and then he was overjoyed.
The furry friend immediately ran off. His face brightened as his tail wagged like crazy and he jumped up at his owner. He had finally found her!
"The happiest dog", she called him with a grin. And in fact, that's exactly what the cheeky little dog looked like.
