Father is amazed at what his wife and daughter say to him: But so many others have to laugh

New Jersey (USA) - "Oh my God, what happened to me here?" Dave Ippolito (38) from New Jersey is still digesting what recently happened to his daughter Ava (5) and his wife Janie (36). But while the man seems to be coming to terms with the current circumstances, many others can laugh heartily about his situation. Because the matching TikTok video has now reached an audience of millions.

In this curious clip, the father comes home from a hard day's work to find his wife and daughter already waiting for him. Not with dinner, however, but with an announcement.

They didn't have the time or inclination to cook, but would rather be taken out to a Mexican restaurant, say mother and daughter.

Ava is in no way inferior to her mother in this situation and simply repeats much of what she says. Dave Ippolito now calls the five-year-old his wife's "mini-me".

"I meant it when I said she was her mini-me," the 38-year-old explained in an interview with Newsweek this week. "She loves to boss me around, is stubborn, loves to go shopping, is very demanding and extremely silly," Ippolito said of his daughter.

But he has identified an even greater similarity.

"My daughter says, 'I don't need a man,' and that's exactly what my wife says, usually right after she needs my help with something," the non-family head told the US magazine.

However, the TikTok audience really likes the rebellious girls. 1.3 million clicks have been accumulated since mid-February, plus almost 170,000 likes.

But how does the US American plan to fight back against the female dominance in his home?

Not at all, it seems. "Even though I say it drives me crazy, I fell in love with my wife for a reason and I love and adore my daughter," says Ippolito.

Conclusion: this man is resigned to his fate.
