Elon Musk shows up on stage with a cheese hat: What's up with that?
Green Bay (USA) - At a town hall meeting in Wisconsin, tech billionaire Elon Musk (53) wore a distinctive foam headdress. What was he trying to achieve?

"This is a big deal," said Musk in front of an audience of around 2,000 in Green Bay, "I'm here in person." The 53-year-old wore an oversized hat with a cheese motif, which caused a stir in the audience.
As Inquisitr reported, the cheese hat was intended as a nod to Wisconsin's thriving dairy industry. It is also a distinguishing feature of fans of the NFL team Green Bay Packers. But Musk wasn't just there for the symbolism.
After signing his headgear and throwing it into the cheering crowd, Musk went one step further.
He presented two attendees with checks worth over a million dollars. The recipients were declared official spokespersons for his America PAC. The political committee was founded by Musk himself and is intended to support his vision of "secure borders, sensible spending and free speech".
The timing of the event was not coincidental. The race for the Wisconsin Supreme Court has become a flashpoint in national political battles. The US state is about to elect a judge to the Supreme Court there.
On Tuesday, there will be a vote on which party controls the US House of Representatives.
Democrats accuse Elon Musk of election manipulation
"And if the Wisconsin Supreme Court is able to redraw the districts, they will gerrymander the districts and take two seats away from Wisconsin on the Republican side," Musk warned the crowd. "Then they're going to try to stop all the government reforms that we're pushing for you, the American people."
Not all parts of the audience erupted in cheers during Musk's speech. Democrats had previously tried to stop the distribution of the checks in court, arguing that handing out money as an incentive to get someone to vote is illegal.
However, the state's Supreme Court refused to intervene, allowing Musk to continue his fundraising campaign.
