Dachshund hears mega hit: what he does next strains the laugh muscles

Sydney (Australia) -Dachshunds are one of the most popular dog breeds for good reason: Their cute, loving and sometimes somewhat wild nature melts the hearts of animal lovers all over the world. This is also the case with Darcy, the mini Dachshund, who delighted the Internet with a clip.

Little Darcy lives in the Australian metropolis of Sydney with his master, who only refers to himself as the dog 's "dad" online.

But the dachshund has long been known beyond the city and country borders. This is thanks to the videos of the cute four-legged friend. At the end of last year, a clip was uploaded to TikTok that soon went viral.

"Too well trained", wrote Darcy's "dad" about the recording. In it, the mini Dachshund can be seen sitting on a large bed in front of a small jukebox.

The beginning of Bonnie Tyler's mega-hit "Total Eclipse of the Heart" can be heard from it. But the puppy doesn't quite seem to understand that it's just a song and that he's not actually being spoken to.

So Darcy listens when the song (supposedly) gives him commands!

Whenever the famous "Turn around" is sung by vocalist Rory Dodd, the well-behaved dachshund follows the instructions - and turns 360 degrees.

The people behind the camera can't help but laugh. Darcy's master wrote in the video: "How do I tell him it's just a song?"

Meanwhile, the web was touched and delighted by the dog. In thousands and thousands of comments, Darcy is celebrated as a "good boy" and his owner is (jokingly) asked to give the dachshund treats immediately.

Within a month, the recording has already been viewed 11.5 million times! 2.8 million TikTok users have left a Like so far.
