Around 50 servants of the royal family first rang in the Christmas season with a dignified event at the palace, where they are said to have enjoyed a round of drinks at around 4 p.m., according toThe Sun.

A little later, the group made their way to the well-attended All Bar One, where they had booked in for an after-party.

But as soon as they arrived, guests at the packed bar noticed that one of the maids was suddenly displaying "hysterical" behavior. Within moments, the situation got out of hand.

As an eyewitness later told The Sun, the woman is said to have started rioting in the bar, smashing glasses and even attacking staff.

The bar's security tried to calm the 24-year-old down, but instead she is said to have thrown glasses at them.

"I've never seen a person go so crazy on a night out. She was on another level," the eyewitness continued.

The out-of-control woman forced the bar staff to call the police.

They arrived at the bar shortly after 9 p.m. and arrested the maid for assault, damage to property, drunkenness and disorderly conduct.

She then spent the following night in a cell, but was released after 24 hours in exchange for a fine.

A Palace spokesperson responded to the events of that night as follows: "Although this was an informal gathering and not an official Christmas party at the Palace, the facts are being fully investigated, with a strict disciplinary procedure being followed in relation to individual members of staff and appropriate action being taken."
