Caught on camera: Couple runs over tow truck driver!

USA - After a tow truck driver was run over while trying to tow a car, two people have now ended up in court - the gruesome act was captured on video.

The incident occurred last Wednesday in the US state of Tennessee.

As People reports, the driver was towing a Ford when a woman shouted at the man to hurry up - possibly because she couldn't get past the tow truck.

The woman and a man quickly got into the car that was being towed, jerked it back and hit the driver, who was seriously injured.

According to TMZ, the vehicle belonged to the perpetrator himself.

A video of the incident shows the man running to his car, getting in and driving over the victim's head. The seriously injured man screamed in pain while the perpetrator tried to flee the parking space and the woman screamed at him.

The victim was taken to hospital with serious injuries. Shortly afterwards, the suspects Brandi Revels (27) and Nicholas Wray (34) were arrested by the police. They are accused of grievous bodily harm.

The next court hearing is scheduled for tomorrow, Monday.
