Brothers cut off their hair: When Mother hears the reason, she can't believe her ears
Birmingham (Alabama/USA) - The brothers were more than happy with their "work". Their mother Funmi Ford (39), however, who lives with Sammy (8), Solly (5) and her husband in Birmingham, Alabama (USA), was overwhelmed by several feelings at once. But when she heard her boys' reason for the more than unprofessional clear-cutting, she could no longer believe her ears.

"I was shocked, then annoyed and then I couldn't stop laughing," explained the mother of two in an interview with Newsweek last week.
This was preceded by a viral TikTok video in which the boys present themselves to their horrified mother, beaming with joy. The curious clip begins with the children facing her with several holes in their hair.
Sammy and Solly have used office scissors to do this. Their tufts of hair are scattered all over the carpet. Their mother then scolds the brothers, who are now standing in front of her with scowls on their faces.
Then the 39-year-old takes a close look at the "result". Finally, she asks the question of all questions: "Why did you do that?"

Sammy in particular now finds his laughter again. Because he and his brother want to look like their father, who is slowly going bald. Their mother finds this so funny that she is also having a great time.
Her husband was not in Birmingham at the time, Ford told the US magazine. But: "When he came back, he was calmer than I was and talked to them about safety and warned them about using scissors," the American explained.
In private, she and her husband laughed a lot about her boys' idea, said Ford. On the other hand, she explained: "I was so happy that they didn't cut themselves."
So no one really needs to be left laughing. Meanwhile, the clip has received 1.8 million clicks and more than 265,000 likes on TikToksince mid-January .
