After landing, dog Amalka breaks her owner's heart!
Paris - After landing in Paris, her owner Míša experienced a heartbreaking moment when her dog suddenly ran across the runway and threatened to disappear forever.
The latest photos of two-year-old Amalka are shocking: In the midst of heavy snowfall, the young dog's black fur was seen disappearing more and more into thick white on the afternoon of November 21.
During the flight, her box in the cargo hold had apparently opened, allowing Amalka to run straight out into the open when the airport staff opened the loading flap of the plane on French soil.
For Czech tourist Míša, this was the beginning of almost eight days of suffering without her faithful companion. Using the hashtag "#findamalka", she immediately launched a search on social media.
The high-spirited furry friend had to be somewhere near the airport.
#findamalka: Mistress launches desperate search operation
But the situation seemed hopeless: Míša wrote in a desperate post on Instagram that she had searched several areas around the airport immediately after the moment of shock, but the area was simply too huge and could not be managed without support, for example from surveillance cameras.
But her media cry for help did not go unheard: users shared her post and both volunteers and animal welfare organizations helped in the search for Amalka.
In the meantime, there were repeated glimmers of hope when people who had allegedly seen Amalka came forward.
As if her mistress had heard her: Amalka has actually been found!
On Thursday, the Czech woman once again made her grief clear with a black and white photo showing her cuddling her "baby girl". She wrote in her Instagram post: "I miss you so much. I hope we are reunited soon."
What the blonde didn't know at the time was that just a few hours later, it would actually happen!
"We've found Amalka," Míša announced happily on the same day. A heart-warming photo shows Amalka, wrapped in an orange blanket, in the arms of her relieved owner.
According to a report in the French magazine"Le Parisien", the renegade dog lady was found in a park just a few kilometers from Charles de Gaulle Airport.
Amalka seems to have coped surprisingly well with her time alone in the freezing cold of the French capital, as was confirmed on Friday after a visit to the vet. "Amalka is healthy, has lost about 1.5 kilograms and is very exhausted, but healthy," Míša said.
