After cliff attack he called his son: Doctor confesses to attempted murder of his wife
USA/Hawaii - After a doctor pushed his wife off a cliff , he called his son and confessed to the gruesome act.

As reported by the New York Post, Arielle filed for a restraining order against the doctor last Thursday, stating that he was "prone to extreme jealousy".
She also stated that he would control and monitor all their communications. The 46-year-old accused her of having an affair.
As a result, their marriage had been crumbling for a long time. However, according to the 36-year-old, the couple had attended individual and couples therapy sessions in order to save their relationship.
As their marriage had improved as a result of the therapy, they decided to go on a trip - leaving their two children at home.
On the first day of the trip - a week ago - they went for a hike, which is when the horrific act occurred. Konig freaked out because Arielle didn't want to take a picture with him and unceremoniously pushed her off the cliff.

He also threw a stone at her and even tried to attack the 36-year-old with syringes.
"I don't know what was in the syringe, but Gerhardt is an anaesthetist and has professional access to several potentially lethal drugs," says Arielle.
After two women on the hiking trail heard the attacked woman's cries for help, she was rescued. She was taken to hospital with critical injuries to her face and head.
The 46-year-old himself was caught in the evening of the same day after a short chase. A short time later, the police discovered that the doctor had called one of his adult sons from a previous marriage and admitted that he had tried to kill Arielle.
Gerhardt Konig has been in custody since last Friday after his wife said she was afraid for herself and her family.
