Just eight days earlier, a jogger had discovered the decomposed body of his wife, Zhuojun 'Sally' Li (†33), wrapped in plastic ten meters away.
It was still unclear why the couple died. The police have now released new details. According to them, the 33-year-old is said to have owed a considerable sum of money to a loan shark - presumably due to his gambling addiction.
The unknown financier is now the focus of the investigation. It is being investigated whether the man could have anything to do with the couple's death.

NSW Police believe that Zhuojun 'Sally' Li was unaware of the amount of her husband's debt.
The double murder is believed to have been committed in the couple's home. The perpetrators then disposed of the bodies in a stream near Sydney Airport.
The police suspect that those involved in the crime may have gone abroad - to China or Taiwan, for example. It is not clear whether they had contact with the loan shark in question.
They are also investigating the drug scene. Jai-Bao 'Rex' Chen is said to have been convicted several times for drug offenses before his death. According to the police, there may be a connection to the terrible bloody deed.
