"Alien" causes shock: Passenger stared at by gigantic eye

USA - A creepy optical illusion in real life terrified a passenger: he thought an alien was on board!

"I almost landed this plane myself," wrote the person who shared the bizarre picture online.

The photo shows a figure staring at the passenger with what appears to be a huge googly eye, a moustache and a black hoodie.

"WTF is an alien doing there?" asked one user under the post on Platform X, while another said he had jumped out of the plane in fright.

The original poster compared the creepy apparition to the alien from E.T. hiding under a blanket. However, as some observant X users quickly realized, the supposed "alien" was not an extraterrestrial stowaway, but a person wearing their hoodie backwards.

The "eye" turned out to be headphones stuck in the ear, while the hood covered the face.

"It looks like this person is creepily staring at you, but it's actually just the side of their head with a headphone," one commenter clarified.

Another added with a laugh, "That's an earbud in someone's ear, lol, looks creepy at first glance though."
