Dramatic scenes: Baby trapped in sinking car - father rescues heroically!
England - These are scenarios that are hard to imagine: during a storm, an eleven-month-old baby was trapped in a car - the vehicle began to sink!
As The Sun reported, Storm Bert hit the UK last Saturday, leaving chaos in its wake with heavy snowfall and flooding.
Despite the weather warning, Andre Randles, the child's father, was driving along a small, flooded road, assuming the water was not deep.
But suddenly he hit a hidden dip that pulled the car into the depths - a race against time began.
Andre didn't hesitate for a second: he climbed out of the vehicle himself and rescued his child from the sinking car shortly afterwards. Once both were safe, they were taken in by a local resident to find shelter from the storm.

In an emotional Facebook post, Paige Newsome, the child's mother, wrote: "[It was] such a scary experience for Andre to have to pull himself and our eleven-month-old baby out of the car windows as the water entered the vehicle."
However, the young mother is not letting go of the incident. She added: "You never know what could have happened. Imagine if my partner hadn't thought quickly enough to open the windows to climb out and then rescue my son. I dread that thought."
Despite the horror and the life-threatening situation, the family is infinitely grateful that they were able to escape this nightmare.
This event has shown them once again how fragile life is - and how important it is to stand by each other in difficult moments.
