Woman climbs into the attic: What Golden Retriever does next knocks her socks off

Texas (USA) - It is common knowledge that golden retrievers are particularly family-friendly and affectionate. However, fellow Golden Retriever Honey from Texas takes this insight to the extreme. In a viral hit, users on TikTok get to see what this means.

In the video (see below), the golden retriever looks longingly after her owner Kailee Howard (25) as she works in the attic.

Then it happens: Because Honey simply can't be without her owner, she ventures up the steep ladder.

Step by step and paw by paw, the faithful furry friend finally works her way up until she makes it. The dog greets her owner with a wagging tail.

However, the Texan, who is knocked off her feet by her four-legged friend's actions, quickly realizes that she now has a problem.

"She climbed up the ladder to the attic where I was, and then I had to carry her down because she couldn't climb down because it was too dangerous and I didn't want her to get hurt," Howard explained to Newsweek this week.

Luckily, a camera in the house caught the moment so it could be shared on TikTok. Within a week, it had already received more than 400,000 clicks.

In the video, another dog can be seen watching her owner and Honey descend together. In addition to her, a third four-legged friend lives in the Texan household.

"As I carried her down, you could see her sister Willow watching us to make sure we got down safely. She's the mother of the group," the 25-year-old told the US magazine.

For now, everyone can be happy about the viral hit - and the fact that no one was injuredduring Honey's curious action.
