Golden Retriever Charley is awarded a special title: This is what it's all about
Montclair (USA) - This cuddly Golden Retriever now has a very important role. Not only does he support his sports team, he has also been appointed Director of Pawsitivity.
Charley the dog has recently become an official member of the support team for the Montclair State University women's basketball team.
Fittingly, the two-year-old retriever has the sweet title of "Director of Pawsitivity" and is featured with a portrait photo on the team page.
"With a heart as golden as her fur, Charley is known for her infectious enthusiasm, tail-wagging motivation and ability to lift spirits both on and off the field," Charley's bio reads.
"Whether bringing joy to training sessions, providing emotional support or simply offering a comforting presence, Charley is a beloved member of the team. In her free time, Charley enjoys long hikes, belly rubs, swimming, collecting sticks, and of course, treats!"
And the golden retriever's "pawsitivity" seems to be having an effect. With Charley at their side, the women made their best start to the season since the 2016/2017 season.
