Cancer drama: "One Tree Hill" star (†35) dies shortly before his wedding

North Carolina (USA) - Actor Paul Teal, known from the TV series "One Tree Hill", has died at the age of just 35.

The 35-year-old died after a fierce battle with cancer, as the Opera House Theater in Wilmington announced on Facebook.

The series star still had many big dreams - one of which was to marry the love of his life. He was eagerly awaiting the day when he could say "I do" to his fiancée.

But she has now also shared a heartbreaking message on social media that Teal has passed away.

Sharing a photo of the actor smiling while giving him a kiss on the cheek, she expressed her deepest sorrow and dedicated touching messages of love to him. "A part of me died with you, but I promise you I will fight just as hard for the joy of life as you did every day," she wrote on Instagram.

Paul Teal began his acting career on the theater stage at the age of twelve. He became known to a wider audience through the hit series "One Tree Hill", in which he played the role of Josh in several episodes.
