This cheeky beagle! When his master comes home, the dog shows off his great acting talent

Spain - This cheeky beagle! Nico, the playful male dog, has a great talent: he is a born actor and knows exactly how to cover up his misdeeds.

And Nico's master, Javier, recently captured exactly what that means with a hidden camera.

We see the cheeky dog lounging on the couch in the living room. The five-year-old male dog knows very well that he is not actually allowed to do this.

That's because Javier has set up a dog area right next to the sofa especially for his darling. But Nico has other things on his mind. When he hears his master unlock the door, the dog pricks up his ears, thinks for a moment, gets up from the sofa and dashes to "his" spot in good time. The timing is perfect.

And when the light in the living room goes on, Nico looks up (apparently) puzzled and tries to yawn. "I've been sleeping here the whole time and you just wake me up? Outrageous!", the talented actor would probably say, if only he could speak.

Nico's heart is racing on TikTok: the curious clip that Javier shared a few days ago has already been viewed more than 565,000 times.

Javier tells Newsweek about his life with his cheeky beagle.

"I usually leave him on the couch when I'm at home, but when I'm out and about I try to keep him off it," says the thirty-something, who lives in Spain.

"I'd noticed before that I could hear him jumping up when I put the key in the lock, so I set my phone to pick it up."

Nico's little misdeed is unlikely to have any repercussions for the sneaky beagle. When Javier "convicted" the little crook and watched the "evidence video" on his smartphone, the dog owner had to laugh heartily. "What I got was so much better than I expected. I laughed so much and gave him lots of kisses."

Beagles are considered THE family dogs par excellence. The small hunting dogs are said to have a particularly good-natured nature, but also a certain stubbornness. Clearly, Nico is certainly no exception.
