The travel provider "Villa Vie Residences" is offering a four-year cruise that visits up to 140 countries worldwide, but not the USA.

The multi-year cruise is being marketed by the US travel provider as a kind of escape from Trump's upcoming presidency.

The world cruise ship is therefore likely to be attractive to Americans who are not exactly open-minded about Trump as the new president.

However, as Mikael Petterson, CEO of Villa Vie Residences, explained to Newsweek, the company had considered the marketing campaign before it was clear who would win the US election .

Nevertheless, a good half of the population would be angry about the election result and would therefore be a potential target group for the cruise route.

Passengers have to put down a lot of money for a trip around the world

However, those interested have to dig deep into their pockets to get on board.

The "Tour La Vie" program starts at 40,000 US dollars (the equivalent of around 38,000 euros) from the first year of travel. The price naturally increases with each additional year that passengers spend on the ship. Those who opt for the full four years will have to budget for a total of up to 256,000 US dollars (just under 243,000 euros).

However, despite the gigantic prices, Petterson has already received numerous inquiries for the world cruise ship. The special marketing strategy seems to be working.
