Cyclist can't believe who is walking past him

USA - Scott Bishop from the US state of California could hardly believe his eyes a few months ago when he was out cycling and saw a stray dog.

The stray was discovered the next day in a bush.

The four-legged friend ran past him and seemed very frightened. As Scott was out cycling that day and the road was closed to cars at the time, he and his wife Hailey hoped to find the dog again the next day.

The next morning, the couple and other people recruited via a Facebook group set off in search of the dog.

They eventually found the puppy in a bush, as they documented on TikTok. There they keep giving updates to interested viewers.

"I just saw these two eyeballs peeking out," Hailey now told the animal magazine"The Dodo". The couple suspected that he had been abandoned.

Scott and Hailey took the black dog home and also presented him to a vet, who estimated him to be five months old. Fortunately, the four-legged friend was doing well under the circumstances. A DNA test revealed that he was almost 40 percent Weimaraner and 37 percent Doberman.

Dog Bonez finds new home

Bonez, as the four-legged friend is now called, was lucky to have been found and lovingly cared for.

The fur nose also made the acquaintance of the Bishops' family dog. They got on really well straight away and romped around together.

In his new home, the dog got better and better, put on weight and felt more and more comfortable. However, he couldn't stay with his new family, but his forever home was soon to be found.

Scott's parents immediately fell in love with the bow-wow. The Bishops drove 15 hours from California to Colorado to hand him over to his new family. There, Bonez, as he was eventually christened, has plenty of exercise and a wonderful home.

"It seems like it was destiny that we found him a home and it's in the family, so we'll see him the rest of his life," Hailey said.
