Yesterday, Tuesday, the woman wanted to travel with the low-cost airline Ryanair. When she handed in her suitcase, however, she was suddenly charged a high fee. And all because one of the wheels of her suitcase slightly protruded during the size check.

She had already paid 35 euros for the flight and 15 euros for priority boarding, making a total of 50 euros. Now she had to pay another fee for her luggage - 60 euros.

"It's ridiculous. I paid for priority boarding and bought this suitcase separately because it fits perfectly," says the traveler from Dublin.

Although her suitcase - apart from the one wheel - really did fit in the size checker, she had to pay more for it than for the actual flight.

The 31-year-old also claims that the size of other passengers would not have mattered. "There were lots of men with larger suitcases than mine who were allowed on the plane without being checked," she reports.

But the young woman won't put up with it. "I'm going to complain and demand a refund. I can afford to pay, but many others can't, and I don't have tons of money either."
