Bitch stuck in tiny crevice for two weeks! Miracle occurs during rescue
California (USA) - "An angel was watching over her!" With these words, animal rescuer Suzette Hall introduced a post on her Facebook account yesterday, Wednesday, when she reported on her latest mission.
She was called to an industrial area in the US state of California, where workers had discovered a small dog in a gap in the wall.
The four-legged friend had been stuck there for two weeks, only moving when food and drink were placed in front of her at the exit. After that, however, she always ran back to the far corner.
And at this point, the gap was just 15 centimetres wide!
Hall knew immediately that this furry friend needed her help - and so she set off without further ado.
When she finally reached the gap in the wall, however, the operation took forever. "Sometimes rescuing is like watching wet paint dry", Hall drew a comparison, "and today was one of those days".
In the end, it took several hours for the animal lover to set up her trap and simply wait for the dog to trust her. And after what felt like an eternity, it happened: "She stuck her head out and started walking around the cage."
Was deceased son the guardian angel for the bitch?
After a full five hours, the time had finally come - and the dog marched straight into the cage.
"She was safe at last," Hall beamed, explaining once again that she definitely had an angel watching over her that day, and his name was Logan - Hall's late son.
Hall had arrived at the scene at 12.29 p.m. and at 5.29 p.m. the little dog was sitting in her arms.
"I cried the whole time," Hall continued. "A true miracle, there were so many goosebump moments."
