Grieving family members identified the victim as Sabina Khorramdel and expressed their dismay while pleading for help in finding the killer.
"We are devastated by this senseless loss," the family said in a statement obtained by NBC4.
They are urging anyone with information to come forward.
The investigation into the background is ongoing and police presence at the resort has been greatly increased.
