Man catches woman having sex with brother in car - But it gets even stranger!

Burnie (Tasmania) - An absurd story is said to have taken place on the Australian island of Tasmania: A man (41) is now facing jail time for attacking his wife and brother with a shovel after he caught them both having sex.

David McCulloch (41) and his wife Jacinta were married for six years and were the parents of four children.

The attack took place on March 28 of this year, reports The Advocate.

According to the report, David McCulloch became suspicious when his wife Jacinta King did not answer the phone several times. When he went looking for her, he quickly found her: Jacinta was sitting in the back seat of a car with another man and having sex with him!

The man was not just anyone, but the 41-year-old's brother of all people. Jamie McCulloch was just about to have sex with Jacinta in the parking lot near his home.

And it gets even stranger: the mother of the two siblings is said to have been sitting in the front seat of the car during the incident!

After the attack in March: this is how long the 41-year-old must serve in prison

Logically, David blew all his fuses. He grabbed a nearby shovel and started hitting the cheating couple. At the same time, he shouted: "I'll kill you all!"

His mother Sue tried to intervene and calm her son down, but he pushed her against a dustbin. In his rage, David even broke the murder weapon. Jacinta and Jamie were injured in the attack and had to be treated in hospital.

The Tasmanian confessed to his crime at the trial in Burnie Supreme Court last week. Judge Tamara Jago acknowledged that the story "must have been upsetting for David". According to her, it was a serious "breach of trust" between the family members.

Nevertheless: punishment is necessary. In addition to assault, David also faces charges of illegal possession of cannabis and possession of a firearm and ammunition. He was sentenced to three years in prison.
