17-year-old girl died in the barn: Was she attacked before the pigs descended on her?
Ushanka (Russia) - 17-year-old Milena Shevelyova was supposed to guard the farm while her parents were away - but the day took a tragic turn: The girl died after a neighbor allegedly attacked her.
The tragic case of 17-year-old Milena, who was mauled to death by pigs, has shocked the public and raised many questions.
Now there is a shocking new development: as the British news magazine Mirror reports, the investigation is now underway against 40-year-old neighbor Igor Zaika, who has admitted to brutally attacking Milena before her death.
According to reports, Zaika had previously had an argument with Milena's father and entered the pigsty with the intention of killing the animals.
When he found Milena there, who was feeding the pigs, he attacked her and repeatedly hit her on the head until she lost consciousness.
He then left her in the barn, where she was attacked by the pigs.
The parents of Milena (†17) were unable to reach their daughter
Milena's parents then tried to reach their daughter, but she didn't answer her cell phone.
Concerned, they called a friend to check on the 17-year-old. When he entered the stable, he found Milena covered in blood on the floor and immediately called the emergency services.
But all help came too late: Milena was already dead.
Her body had numerous animal bites, which is why it was initially assumed that her death had been caused by an attack by a particularly aggressive pig - until the 40-year-old neighbor finally confessed.
Investigations into the exact cause of death and the circumstances of the incident are ongoing. The question of how long Milena had been in the barn before she was discovered also remains unanswered.
