Woman wants to save dog: But the circumstances make her heart race
Odessa (Ukraine) - A highly dangerous mission: the "Love Furry Friends" continue to fight for their beloved furry friends in war-torn Ukraine. But this dog set animal rights activist Olena's pulse racing. But there was a good reason for her racing heart: the dog was running right next to a highway and panicked when she tried to help him.

"It's every animal rescuer's nightmare to save a terrified dog on a highway," reads the YouTube video recently published by the Love Furry Friends.
Clearly, Pusha, as the four-legged friend was soon named by the team, was in danger of being fatally hit by one of the cars speeding past him.
Fortunately, Olena managed to lure him out of the danger zone with dog food and slowly build up trust in him. Eventually, the brave Ukrainian managed to lift Pusha into her car .
Instead of driving to the vet, Olena then chose a surprising destination.

She preferred to take the four-legged friend to the groomer, who gave him a good bath and a new coat cut. After that, Pusha looked as good as new.
Only then did she take him to the vet, who had little to complain about. However, the specialist found that Pusha was about one and a half years old.
The dog was then dewormed and vaccinated. He was then taken directly to the Love Furry Friends shelter in Odessa.
As soon as she arrived, Olena's heart sank. She was surprised to see that the frightened, shy four-legged friend immediately sought contact with the other dogs, with whom he eagerly made friends.
What Pusha still needs is a new home. The Love Furry Friends hope to be able to place him soon thanks to the video.
