Woman takes Labrador to work: office bulldog's reaction makes tears of laughter flow

Edgewood (New York) - He just wants to play! Hurley the Labrador and Ruby the English Bulldog have been letting tears of laughter flow on TikTok for a few days now. The reason for this is their very differently distributed joy at seeing their owners again at work.

The bulldog Ruby belongs to the CEO of "Lacrosse Unlimited" based in Edgewood, New York. Among the office dogs, she is definitely the boss of the house. And she lets her fellow dogs know this as soon as they approach her.

In the clip, Labrador Hurley is standing in the hallway with a large ball, lifting it up to show it to the bulldog. The male dog is lucky that there is a glass door between them that Ruby cannot open.

The female barks furiously and pushes aggressively against the door. The staff soon intervene. A man grabs the barker, lifts her up and carries her away.

What drives the bulldog up the wall amuses the TikTok audience all the more. More than 680,000 clicks have already been accumulated in less than a week.

But some users are demanding even more because of a detail in the background.

A young man can be seen filming the curious scene from the other side. Hurley's mistress actually responds to the request and also posts this video. Yield in just two days: more than 200,000 clicks.

Under these circumstances, Newsweek also wanted to have a say and asked Hurley's owner Maureen McLaughlin for a short interview this week.

"All the staff love dogs , so we have to coordinate with Ruby's schedule. If someone brings their dog, Ruby has to stay at home."

Nevertheless, McLaughlin dared to do the unthinkable: "I wanted to try it out that day. Hurley wanted to play, but Ruby said: 'Out!' Ruby had to stay on a lead for the rest of the day."

What an insult for the animal queen of the office. But Hurley's owner reassures her: "We have a lot of fun in the office and Ruby is usually the center of attention."

So unfortunately, her Labrador should probably stay at home again in future to keep the "office universe" in balance.
