A Bernese mountain dog articulated its clear response with a loud bark. He was then celebrated on TikTok as the "king who sets boundaries".

Alyx, the owner of the expressive dog, published a video on her TikTok channel "pikapupp" that quickly went viral.

In the short clip, her pet can be seen at the groomer. It quickly becomes clear that the Bernese mountain dog does not seem at all enthusiastic about the visit.

The four-legged friend seems insecure and keeps backing away from the hairdresser. She tries to take things slowly by greeting him calmly and asking gently: "Can I touch you?"

The furry friend doesn't seem to have to think for a second and gives a stern answer through clenched teeth. His clear bark almost sounds like a clear "no" in English.

The groomer doesn't take offense at the reaction and notes in the comments section that the poof is a new customer and probably still feels uncomfortable in the new environment. The clip attracted numerous viewerson TikTok with 32.9 million views and 7.2 million likes.

One TikTok user summarized the scene: "Loud and clear. He's not playing." Another humorously added: "Bro is so traumatized he's starting to speak English."
