Woman just wants to go to the gym, but her golden retriever turns it into a drama

New York (USA) - There is simply nothing in the world that Golden Retriever Duke hates more than spending time without his beloved mistress.

The young American Zarah recently proved this once again in the form of a TikTok video in which the dog sits on her lap. He has his snout nestled against his owner's chest, his gaze sadly directed towards the floor.

"This is what it looks like when you have a little male dog," Zarah announces in the clip, grinning wryly back and forth between the lens and her pet.

The furry friend then lowers her head further, almost as if she can barely stand upright due to her grief.

Duke's owner can only laugh in response, stroking his fur gently: "Are you kidding me?" she giggles, before murmuring soothing words into her golden retriever's ear: "It's okay."

But what is the reason for the poor pet's misery anyway?

"He's sad that I'm going to Pilates," Zarah explained to her more than 447,000 followers on TikTok. And they really felt for the dejected four-legged friend.

Within a very short space of time, the clip had already been viewed hundreds of thousands of times and the comment column was filled with smiles and heart emojis. Almost all viewers agreed on one thing: the dog should just come along to training - problem solved!

How exactly Zarah handled it in the end - whether she simply stayed at home, left her four-legged friend behind or actually took him with her - is unclear.

In the caption of the post, however, she couldn't help but poke fun at Duke's behavior: "He's just so dramatic."
