One recent clip in particular is capturing the hearts of users on TikTok: Massimiliano Simari immediately snapped it when he saw where his daughter Sophie had gone to sleep.

The girl had probably chosen the most comfortable and safest spot in the house - right on top of American Bully Mino.

In the video, you can see the child slumbering peacefully, while the dog keeps opening his eyes as if to make sure his little sister is safe.

Father Massimiliano therefore aptly describes his four-legged friend as the "perfect babysitter".

His clip has already been viewed a remarkable 25 million times and is melting viewers' hearts.

"He will protect her until his last breath 🥰🥹", one user is certain. Another notes: "The way he doesn't move so as not to wake her up. 😫😫"

The story gets even sweeter when you look back two years: At the time, Massimiliano's wife was just pregnant and the couple didn't yet know how their dog would react to the baby.

As early as 2023, however, Mino made it clear that he felt a deep bond with the girl in her mother's womb when he curiously listened to the unborn child 's heartbeat with a stethoscope and then caressed the Italian woman's baby bump .
