Touching story: Frightened dog finds new home
USA - In a heartwarming TikTok clip , a woman shared the journey of her dog Daisy. She adopted the furry friend some time ago and took her home. The first few weeks were not easy for her.

There is no rule of thumb for acclimatizing a dog from animal welfare. Some dogs feel right at home after just a few days, while other four-legged friends need several weeks.
This is also the case with the black dog Daisy. Before she was adopted by Tara, she lived in a flea-infested house with three pit bulls. Her new owner is unsure what the four-legged friend had to endure there.
In an interview with Newsweek, she said: "I don't know what she's been through, but she's afraid of a lot of things. If I say no to her, and I say it very calmly and sweetly, she pees herself."
Even if Daisy caused an accident in the house, she immediately hid and howled, Tara continued. But over time, the dog got used to her surroundings and felt increasingly comfortable.

Despite the difficult time at the beginning, the family showed Daisy nothing but love and patience. In a TikTok video, Tara shared Daisy's little success stories.
At first, she was still too scared to leave the couch and hid at the slightest noise. Now she has found an animal best friend, cuddles with Tara's children and runs around freely in the garden.
