USA - The golden retriever trio, Rue, Murphy and Kevin, recently had the pleasure of meeting the family's latest addition: Their owners have become parents! A reason for joy - even if one of the four-legged friends showed little interest in the newborn itself.

In a video that has since been published on the TikTok account "3_golden_pups", the three dogs can be seen crowding around the baby carrier to catch a glimpse of the little creature. At least that's Rue and Kevin.

At the beginning, Murphy still pretends to care about the child's well-being. However, in a careless moment for his owners, he snaps - and steals his human sibling's pacifier.

He then made a dash for it and made himself comfortable on the living room couch, looking as innocent as possible. He had the teat between his teeth the whole time.

"It looks like we'll have to get Murphy his own pacifier," the owners of the golden retriever gang captioned the funny clip, which quickly became very popular online.

Within a few days, the post had already been viewed more than two million times - users just can't get enough of the furry friend's silliness. So it's no wonder that a second video of Murphy went online shortly afterwards.

Here too, the male dog holds the baby's pacifier in his snout, innocently avoiding the camera's gaze and causing a lot of laughter.

"We don't really need to say it anymore," his owners continued, "but Murphy is simply obsessed with our baby's pacifier."
