While browsing in the picture department of a second-hand store, she came across a special treasure: she kept finding canvases and framed pictures showing the same dog . The photos clearly showed how much the owner loved his four-legged friend .

Touched by this sweet collection, Lindsey published a video about it.

Only a short time later, the local veterinary clinic responded to her post and told the photographer the touching story behind the pictures.

They show the golden retriever lady Emily. The dog had passed away shortly before her owner Joseph.

In the obituary of Joseph, who passed away a month after Emily, it was requested that no flowers be donated, but that donations be made to an organization in New York that supports the rescue and placement of animals.

Lazare, who was deeply touched by the story, spontaneously bought all 20 pictures of the dog and shared the appeal for donations on her account.

Completely overwhelmed by the response, she reported on Instagram that the campaign had raised around 8,000 euros.

Due to the great interest in the pictures of Emily, she sent out the 20 originals and also digitized the photos of the fur nose so that everyone can download them. You can find the photoshere.
