Shocking find: This is what doctors discover in a dog's stomach
USA/California - After a dog became unwell, he was taken to a veterinary clinic. During an operation, the doctors found strange things in his stomach.

The owners of seven-month-old Bernese mountain dog Luna noticed that their dog was vomiting frequently.
They also noticed that the dog had a "firm, bloated belly".
As USA TODAY reported, veterinarian Dr. Jenny Elwell-Gerken from the US state of California determined that the four-legged friend needed surgery quickly.
During the operation, however, the medical team was shocked: a total of 44 objects were found in Luna's stomach!
These included 24 socks, a baby onesie, several hair ties and various pieces of fabric.
An Instagram post from the clinic described how the onesie had even caused an intestinal blockage in the dog.
However, Dr. Jenny Elwell-Gerken was able to successfully remove all the objects and Luna survived the 45-minute operation well.
Dog Luna had swallowed several socks

The doctor told the news portal that the items could not have been in Luna's stomach for long.
She even suspects that the four-legged friend had only swallowed a large proportion of the socks on the day of the operation.
"It was crazy (...) It probably wouldn't have been long before there was serious damage to the intestines, so I'm glad they [the owners] caught it in time," says Jenny.
Luna's owners said a little later that the furry friend had eaten socks repeatedly in the past, but had eliminated them shortly afterwards and that there had never been a problem until then.
"It was definitely a crazy operation (...) The whole team was quite amused as I pulled out one part after another," said the doctor.
