Arkansas (USA) - The plan of a young man from the USA can be safely filed away under the stamp "stupidly gone wrong".

As K8 News reported, customers discovered a suspicious package at a car wash in the US state of Arkansas last Tuesday.

The police were notified, and officers examined the box on site. As it turned out, the box and its contents were completely harmless.

When the officers from the Mississippi County Sheriff's Office dared to take a look inside, six eyes of three puppies blinked at them.

When asked who had simply leftthe helpless dogs to fend for themselves, the officers quickly found an answer!

Dog hater led the police to himself

A shipping label with a name and address was stuck to the box. According to this, 20-year-old Jeremy Roberts came under suspicion as the perpetrator.

So the police paid him a visit and lo and behold, Roberts admitted to having "disposed of the puppies". The handcuffs then clicked.

The 20-year-old had to go to the police station, but was allowed to return home after paying bail. A charge of cruelty to animals is likely to land in his letterbox soon.
