Konya (Turkey) - In the middle of nowhere, in the icy winter, a man in Turkey suddenly comes across a bundle of fur. As he gets closer, he is almost heartbroken: a family of dogs and their tiny puppies are lying in front of him - shivering in the snow! He immediately realizes that he has to help the animals.

Turkey has a huge problem with stray dogs. According to ZDF, millions of stray animals roam the streets of the emerging country. While the government would prefer to simply get rid of the four-legged friends, a few citizens are showing a heart and trying to take care of the furry friends with their own means - even if they can't do much about it.

This includes TikToker, who simply calls himself "patilerindostu" ("paw friend") on the platform. The man lives up to his username, as the videos on his profile show. The Turk has already rescued dozens of street dogs!

When he was working around the city of Konya south of Ankara in the Central Anatolia region a few days ago, he came across the freezing dog family shortly before sunset. The "paw friend" knew that he could not take in these four-legged friends, as he said he already had "30 puppies" in his car that he had previously rescued.

Nevertheless, he didn't have the heart to simply leave the trembling dog and her puppies behind. In his TikTok video , you can see how he first places a large tray of dry food in front of the animals. But what he does afterwards will help the animals even more!

Using simple materials such as pallets, an old blanket and plastic sheeting, the Turk quickly builds a small hut for the dog family so that they no longer have to sleep unprotected in the icy cold. He also lights a warm campfire from an old car tire.

The fumes rising from it are certainly anything but healthy, but the TikToker has done his best to ensure that the dogs are at least a little better off than before.

The clip has already been viewed almost four million times on the video platform. Viewers are shocked by the circumstances in which the dog has to live. Many want the family to be rescued as quickly as possible.

Many users are particularly worried about the puppies' mother, who can be seen shaking and twitching noticeably in the video. Some suspect that the dog is ill and urgently needs medical help.
