Man comes home: How he finds his Labrador freaks out the internet

New York (USA) - It's a little creepy, but for many it's also very funny. Last month, a curious video on TikTok generated millions of clicks. In it, a master returns home after being away for just one hour. But instead of being greeted warmly by his Labrador Magnus, the man is presented with a completely different picture.

The clip by Brian Benson looks a bit creepy.

The video begins at Brian Benson's front door. When the dog owner, who lives in the US state of New York, is back at home, he recognizes his dog from a distance on the sofa.

But somehow it looks strange the way the Labrador is lying there. So Benson slowly creeps up. When he stands in front of his four-legged friend, his eyes are half open and his mouth is open too.

Reaction? No response! Despite his eyes being open, Magnus seems to be so deeply asleep that he doesn't notice his master.

"He's normally such a good boy. Should I even ask? What would you do if you discovered this?" asks the New Yorker in the subtitles of the clip.

The answer from the TikTok audience is very clear.

Above all, users can laugh at the funny sight of the dog. The curious clip now has more than 19 million clicks and a good million likes. There are also lots of teary-eyed emojis in the comments column.

"I was expecting him to run to the front door, but being a cozy kid, I found him half-asleep on the couch, as if he'd just finished a 16-hour shift of physical labor," Benson explained in an interview with Newsweek.

In the meantime, he had to accept the next "setback". On Thursday, the US American posted the next TikTok video, in which he finds Magnus in the same way. So his furry friend turns out to be a repeat offender.

Nevertheless, Benson can be pleased that he is still getting a great response. His second video is also currently going viral and has already racked up its first million clicks in a short space of time.
