Husky stays in the garden despite snowstorm! But the situation is different than it seems
USA - Huskies are not cozy pets like Golden Retrievers or Labradors! They seem to resemble wolves more than almost any other dog - they are loud, strong and always want to be outside. But what a husky named Koda recently did during a snowstorm astonished the web to no end. However, his owner assured the public that there was nothing to worry about.
Koda certainly doesn't shy away from the cold! That much was made abundantly clear in a viral TikTok recently posted by the Siberian Husky's owner.
"[Huskies] are a different kind of dog," she wrote on a clip of her beautiful four-pawed friend taken during a particularly uncomfortable winter day. The video has since gone viral.
In the shot, Koda can be seen lying on the porch covered in snow in the middle of a heavy snowfall. But anyone who thinks the poor dog has been locked out is mistaken!
"Every time I checked on my husky during the snowstorm," comments Koda's owner in the video. It's clear that the dog seems to be relaxing outside of her own free will - there's no other way to put it.
Unimpressed, she lies on her basket, cleans herself a little and looks out into the garden. Even as she gradually gets more and more snow, it doesn't seem to bother her. At some point, Koda's owner asks if she would rather come in - but the proud husky doesn't budge.

The web was impressed by this steadfastness, but also a little worried. Within a month, the photo of the snow-covered husky was viewed almost 37 million times on TikTok!
3.7 million users even gave Koda a like. More than 17,000 users also commented on the video. Many of them understood that such weather is almost a walk in the park for the breed, which originates from Siberia, but some were still worried that the dog wasn't outside of her own free will.
But Koda's owner explained in a video posted a few days later how much her dog loves being outdoors - no matter what the weather! Although her four-pawed friend would prefer to be outside all the time, Koda is still a pet and she makes sure that the husky lady always spends her nights inside.
"You definitely don't have to worry about her health and quality of life," promised the viral dog's owner.
