Pittsburgh (Pennsylvania/USA) - Huskies are known for exactly that: They can howl for all they're worth! Frankie was no exception - and he was determined to pass on his talent.

In a video shared by his owner Ashley Pamplin (39) on TikTok , the puppy, who has only recently moved into his new home, can be seen starting to howl for the first time in his life.

Totally excited about his latest skill, he repeatedly sticks his snout up in the air and then starts singing his serenade.

Every now and then he looks at the family's eleven-year-old Chihuahua, Rico, who watches him in complete awe.

Ashley couldn't help but beam from behind the camera - when suddenly something happened that she hadn't expected: Rico seemed to be so impressed by his buddy's singing that he quickly tried his luck too.

And lo and behold, after just a few seconds, Husky and Chihuahua began to sing a song together.

Ashley could hardly believe her ears: "He's never cried in his eleven years of life - until now," she wrote enthusiastically under the clip, which has now been viewed more than 2.6 million times.

She has since told the news portal Newsweek: "I loved it, it was like they both learned to howl at the same time."

Shortly afterwards, howling together became a kind of ritual for the two dogs , which Ashley was only too happy to listen to. Unfortunately, this was now to come to an abrupt end.

"Unfortunately, my Chihuahua Rico has died since I recorded the [video]," she said with a heavy heart. But as much as she misses the little rascal, she always tries to remember the beautiful moments with him - and videos like this help her immensely.

"He had his own little wolf pack when he left us."
