United Kingdom - Does it get any cuter than this? Little husky puppy North recently met the newest member of the family for the first time: a tiny kitten.

A video of the cute encounter has since been shared on TikTok - and clicked more than 18 million times in a very short space of time.

"I could watch this for hours," wrote one user, ecstatic. Another: "I need a three-hour movie of this!"

And it's no wonder. In the clip, the velvet paw and the four-legged friend slowly walk towards each other, examining each other curiously. North then begins to sniff the newcomer.

While the cat is still timid at first and lets her fur stand on end, the husky walks around her with interest, wagging his tail back and forth.

Shortly afterwards, he switches to play mode - much to the young kitty's displeasure. Again and again he barks softly and tries to jump towards her, whereupon she merely gives him a swipe with her paw.

But as skeptical as the kitten is at first. After just a few minutes, she puts down her aggression and snuggles up to North on the couch. And he is very enthusiastic about it.

He repeatedly licks the cat's fur and playfully snaps at her - whereupon the furry friend begins to fight back for the first time. She tenderly bites her counterpart's ear and pokes him on the head.

But despite her advances, she doesn't seem to be 100 percent comfortable with the dog until the end of the clip.

He, in turn, has immediately taken his new roommate to his heart.

Now it's surely only a matter of time before the cat accepts the four-legged friend too.
