Golden Retriever wants to swim in the pool, but then comes the big disappointment

USA - It was a painful sight. When golden retriever Tucker realized on Friday that the pool in his family's garden had been covered up, he was deeply offended.

In a short video that has since gone viral on TikTok , you can see the male dog standing next to his beloved paddling pool and no longer understanding the world.

What had happened here? Why wasn't he allowed to go swimming?

His owner, Courtney Budzyn, tried to explain it to her darling: "Tucker, we're not going swimming. It's winter," she shouted at him. But the dog was unimpressed.

He looked at his owner uncomprehendingly, appearing almost offended.

"I don't know what else to tell you, darling. Come in and eat your breakfast," Budzyn tried again, but again fell on deaf ears. Instead, Tucker just tilted his head, the corners of his mouth pulling down.

"You're breaking my heart," his owner continued to sigh.

The curious golden retriever clip went viral on TikTok

It then took quite a bit of persuasion before Budzyn finally managed to convince her beloved four-legged friend.

After she had enticed him with food for the third time, he finally seemed to change his mind - and put aside the fight for his favorite hobby, at least for a moment.

"Good boy," the young woman finally praised him as he trotted into the family home, adding with a grin: "I'm really sorry."

Within just a few hours, the clip had already been clicked on more than 70,000 times and users reacted enthusiastically. Although they felt a little sorry for the animal, most of them could only laugh.

And Budzyn also seemed to make a little joke out of her animal's suffering. She captioned the video with an ironic: "There's no pool here, just pain."
