Because the little dog is on his way to his new family in the US state of New York. Before he sets off, all his Golden Retriever relatives gather at the fence to see him one last time.

In an interview with Newsweekthis week, the New Yorker revealed exactly who the many golden retrievers are that are all standing at the fence .

"One is his grandfather, one is his mother and the other two are half-siblings of his mother, so his half-uncle and half-aunt," she explained to US magazine.

"It was a really bittersweet moment because I was so excited to welcome him into my family, but also sad to see him say goodbye to his canine family," she added.

Her family don't live too far from the breeder. She can therefore arrange visits with the golden retrievers in future, says the US-American.
