USA - There are few things in the world that golden retriever Tucker loves more than his family's pool.

So it's no wonder that his little dog's heart broke when his owners had to winterize the paddling pool a few months ago.

He then spent every single day in the garden, lying down next to the covered pool and staring sadly at the tarpaulin. It was such a heartbreaking sight that his owner Courtney Budzyn immediately shared a video on the Goldie's TikTok account .

However, as she couldn't watch her darling's misery forever, she finally had a brilliant idea: she wanted to surprise the furry friend.

And so she rented an indoor pool for a few hours. Tucker's reaction, which also landed on TikTok, spoke volumes shortly afterwards.

Budzyn had barely uttered the word pool when he started wagging his tail like crazy. Shortly afterwards, he was jumping in circles and could hardly wait to jump into the cool water.

And then it was finally time. As soon as the family arrived at the indoor pool, Tucker's mistress gave the go-ahead - and the golden retriever was gone in a flash.

Together with his little brother Todd, the four-legged friend jumped into the water and began to swim enthusiastically. He kept climbing out of the pool only to jump back in again, catching balls and toys thrown to him by his loved ones and beaming from ear to ear.

"Sorry, but it looks like you need to get an indoor pool now," wrote one of the more than 20.5 million viewers under the clip.

That is certainly worth considering. After all, Budzyn quickly realized that this surprise had gone down more than well with Tucker.
