Netherlands - Bearson's owners have always wondered what their beloved golden retriever gets up to when they are not at home. Recently, they took a look at the footage from their surveillance camera - and felt their hearts sink.

In a short clip that they have since published on TikTok , the dog can be seen cuddling contentedly with his owner.

The young woman writes down the thoughts she always had when she left the house: "I hope Bearson doesn't chew up everything in this house while we're away."

The pictures from the recording device then follow - and they show a completely different story.

Because they show Bearson when his owners are not there. And instead of running through the apartment, knocking things over and destroying the furniture, he climbs onto a chair in the short clip.

And there he doesn't even think about spreading chaos. Instead, he looks sadly at the floor, snuggles into the soft cushion and lets his head sink thoughtfully onto the armrest.

It seems as if he is making himself comfortable, only to wait longingly for his loved ones to come home again very quickly.

"Our boy loves the chair." With these words, Bearson's owner captioned the short video, which has already been clicked on more than 620,000 times in just one day.

Incidentally, the golden retriever's followers don't need to worry about his fur nose. Just a few hours later, the family published a new video of Bearson, in which he is finally reunited with his favorite people - and beaming from ear to ear.
