Colorado (USA) - What was suddenly going on here? A young golden retriever was at a loss for words when his owner recently put something in front of him for breakfast.

What we are still facing in Germany already happened in the USA at the beginning of March: the clock was turned from winter to summer time. In other words, the time was set back by a whole hour.

A fact that Benny the four-legged friend simply could not accept. This meant that his breakfast was served much too early - and the dog was not at all amused.

In a video that his owner, Fernanda Miller, shared on her TikTok account , you can see her providing her pet with a bowl of food. Benny reacts unimpressed.

However, instead of pouncing on the food as he usually does, the furry friend simply looks at his owner questioningly.

Even when she holds the food directly under his nose, the dog just seems to frown. Confused, he takes a few steps back and avoids the bowl. The golden retriever doesn't understand Fernanda's request that it's "mealtime" either.

The two of them argue for a whole minute about how Benny should finally eat something. In the end, Fernanda has to admit defeat.

While she continues to talk to the dog, he lies down next to her, exhausted, and lets his head fall onto her lap.

"He just wants to sleep," Fernanda jokes in the caption of the clip. And indeed. It seems that Benny is just too tired to eat.
